The International Alliance of Carer Organizations (IACO) has launched a first-of-its-kind study examining the role and impact of heart failure caregiving. The study was supported by Novartis. Findings reveal that despite the important influence caregivers have on the quality of life of heart failure patients, there is a significant unmet need for caregiver resources and support. The report studied carers in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
